Our Story

Through resilience and adaptability, EBO navigated the challenges of the COVID-19 era while continuing to serve clients and refine its service offerings. What began as a regional consulting practice has since evolved into a remote-first organization with a global outlook—rooted in Alaska, with expanding operations in Mexico.
From 2019 to 2024, EBO maintained steady operations as a two-person team, building a reputation for precision, reliability, and partnership. In November 2024, the company welcomed Judith Rodriguez as Marketing Director, followed by Abdi Martinez as Operations Director in July 2025—expanding both expertise and international reach. Today, Emily and Mitch lead from Anchorage, while Judith and Abdi operate from Puebla, Mexico, reflecting EBO’s commitment to flexibility, collaboration, and cultural connection.
Now, with a growing presence across borders, EBO continues to evolve—offering consulting solutions that empower organizations to lead with strategy, adapt with confidence, and grow with purpose. Our story is still unfolding, guided by the same vision that started it all: helping businesses and nonprofits reach their fullest potential, wherever they call home.
Emily Berliner
Emily Berliner founded EBO Consulting Inc. in 2018, building on over a decade of administrative and managerial experience across Alaska’s for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Emily established the organization with a vision to help teams and leaders align culture, strategy, and performance. With a background in organizational development, nonprofit management, and a passion for practical, people-centered solutions, she brings both analytical depth and practical insight to EBO’s work. Her leadership continues to shape the firm’s direction, ensuring its services empower organizations to grow with clarity and purpose.

Operations Director
As Operations Director at EBO Consulting, Abdi Martinez leads initiatives to streamline business processes, improve efficiency, and implement scalable solutions across the organization. With extensive experience in SaaS operations, data analysis, and customer success operations, he brings a thoughtful and analytical approach to every project. Abdi has led multiple initiatives that reduced operational delays, enhanced process consistency, and strengthened cross-departmental collaboration. He’s passionate about building effective, sustainable systems that empower teams, enhance performance, and drive meaningful results for clients and partners alike.
Paulo Palacios
Software Engineer (Freelancer)
As a Software Engineer at EBO Consulting, Paulo Alan Palacios brings over five years of experience developing enterprise applications for a transnational software company with operations in Mexico and the United States. His work includes building APIs that integrate with Microsoft’s cloud ecosystem, as well as developing internal web tools and desktop applications that support complex business processes and operational efficiency. In addition to his enterprise development work, he has experience in interactive media, including video game and AR/VR development, bringing a creative technical lens that informs his problem-solving and innovation at EBO.
